As part of MA SCIP, let’s REFLECT on “The places you’ll go…”
“You’ll be seeing great sights!
You’ll join the high fliers
who soar to high heights.”¹
As of Friday, July 20th, 2012, first season MA SCIPs have travelled the waters around Boston Harbor Islands; made music and interpretation with a ukulele in Lowell; walked the Freedom Trail with a Boston National Historical Park ranger; raised cargo on Salem Maritime National Historic Site’s Friendship; visited the home of a President (John F. Kennedy’s Birthplace); walked through Henry W. Longfellow’s home and learned about his friends; visited Philadelphia eating cheese steaks and viewing x-rays of our historic Liberty Bell; journeyed to Patton Great Falls, the newest National Park; and studied the sketches of Frederick Law Olmsted with lunch and reflection in one of his parks…
Inquiring minds want to know what a SCIP thinks…what is your most memorable experience that links you to one of these nine parks?
